Adjustments and Consideration for Candidates
Candidates will be able to apply for reasonable adjustments if they have SEND or external factors which are likely to affect their performance. Your tutor will be able to guide candidates through the process.

Appeal
Candidates can appeal against their external results providing they meet the criteria within the policy and complete the form correctly with the required fee.

Extraordinary Circumstances Policy
Extraordinary Circumstances are defined as unexpected, unavoidable events beyond the center’s control that prevent the center from conducting summative assessments online. The policy must be followed the form completed at the centers earliest convenience.

External Quality Assurances
Centers will be graded based on the assessment process and the quality of candidates work. For this reason, it is important that each center, where possible, has its own IQA in place.

Professional standards must be always upheld. Any conduct that falls below these standards can have a lasting impact on service users and undermine the integrity of the center. Compliance policies must be followed consistently and without compromise.
