About SignConnects
SignConnects is a pending-approval awarding body specialising in Sign Language qualifications. We design, develop, and award nationally recognised qualifications that help students develop valuable skills and progress in their chosen pathways.
Working in partnership with the Deaf community, our qualifications are developed by experts to ensure they meet the highest standards and reflect real-world skills and knowledge.
Please note: All SignConnects Courses must be studied at an approved, and licenced centre e.g. ClarityMatterz.
Our Qualifications:
Level 1:
Perfect for: Complete beginners or those wanting to build basic skills
What you’ll learn: Essential skills and foundational knowledge deaf norms
Assessment: Combination of practical and coursework portfolio
Level 2:
Perfect for: Students with ability to create simple BSL Syntax and wanting to develop further
What you’ll learn: Enhanced skills, deaf cultural understanding and practical application of BSL
Assessment: Combination of practical and coursework portfolio
Level 3:
Perfect for: Experienced learners aiming for professional or specialist pathways and careers
What you’ll learn: Compound BSL syntax skills, specialist knowledge, professional standards and ethics
Assessment: Comprehensive practical and theoretical assessments, work-based evaluation, and portfolios
Prerequisites: Completion of Sign Language qualifications or equivalent experience
